  1. I used Rust-Oleum Painters Touch 2X ultra over matte clear spray to seal my fountain per Lowes paint counter persons advice. I now see this isn’t bird safe. What can I apply over it to seal that off so I can finally set up my fountain safely for birds to enjoy?

    • The only possible option to make that fountain safe again for birds is to remove the old spray paint completely. You just can not apply an water-based sealer over that paint because the solvents are different and they will not adhere well with each other.
